i have this 5 speed t5 out of my car. looks like a ford racing z trannie. but want to know for sure. it has a steel bearing retainer and a black steel plate under the shifter instead of the aluminum one.ok here is teh id #

dont use single stage paint unless you have to. i hate it. doesnt shine as good . but if you are staying same color and useing single stage you will need at least 3 quarts. if you use 2 stage[base/clear] i would say 2 -3 quarts and reduce it 50/50 you should be fine. and about a gallon of clear...

yes you have to have the block notch to clear teh longer stroke. the rod will hit the bottom of teh cylinder wall if you dont. your machinest should be doing this if you told him you are planning to do a 347

those are pretty decent #s. in the new issue of 5.0 mag. they only dynoed like 245rwhp. dont understand why theres was so low cause i seen a bunch of you guys getting between 270-310 rwhp with these heads.
