Don't leave out Bilsteins. Just put on a set with the new Maier leaf's. It is firm, but not harsh. They handle well, and with the new leafs and poly bushings, the car is on a rail! They come in different dampning's, I went with the street version and am very happy with them.

Before I swapped in my R&P steering, I ran a drop braket with no problems at all. I think the drop brakets are aluminum, which would be hard to weld. Someone probably makes a metal one though. Either way it should work. I think they mess up the geometry of the steering a little too though?

Mine, with a new cam, gave me 65 more RWHP hp...dyno verified. Definitely do the cam while your in there. Senseless to put on those heads if your not going to take advantage of them. I would stay away from a solid lifter set up though, unless you plan to race the car...a lot. Hydraulic...

When I did my T5 swap, I sold my C4. When the C4 was weighed at UPS it was 110lbs. This included the box and packing which I eastimate to be 6-9 lbs, so the C4 is just a shade over 100 lbs. NO bellhousing or tq. converter included in weight.
