Meh - I kinda like the clear ones on mine as my car being dark green needs a little 'flash' to brighten it up...but on almost all other colors I agree..the smoked looks smooth! todd

Wow! That's a lot more positive feedback than I thought...thanx everyone! The process is obviously quite straight forward...it takes about 45 minutes each to thoroughly clean and mask them off, then 1 coat of acrylic metal primer, 2 coats of gloss black enamel and 2 coats of acrylic clear...

The picture brightness of the after shot is unfortunately, horrible! But I'm convinced they look better with the black.....gotta get some Eibach spacers to push those rears out (next!!) Todd

Well, after buying some used '04 Mach 1 rims and putting them on my '99 GT, I noticed the grey on the inner section of the spokes took away from the look of the thin spoke...I though why wasn't it black?? Sooo, I painted it!! Whattya think - better, same or blah?!! (original)...

Should...I've had mine on for 3 months and no problems! I'm getting some 35mm spacers put in to fill the rear well out even better! Todd
