    It does pick up the DBA's quite a lot. A guy at my last meeting had an X-pipe and it sounded great but nothing I'd wanna drive past a cop with or come home at 2 am. Installation is pretty straight forward and doesn't take very long.

    I can't answer any of the other question but the one about Crower's service. I've used several cams from them for SBC/BBC's (sorry, no Ford stuff). They were very helpful with application selection and had great customer service the time I used them.

    I got something from them about four months ago and didn't have any problems. I'm sorry about your issues with them. That's the problem with most companies. You'll have good and bad, but very few stay around long with all bad service.

    Short shift until it hurts. I got 250 out of my Mach 1 shifitng at 2000 rpms with a mix 50/50 of city/highway. Cruising at 40 in 5th.

    I'd go with the Mach, but I'm partial. As for blowers, Vortech and Procharger have kits available that allow the shaker to stay put. At an added cost, the shaker can be made functional with the blower.
