    Hard Brake Pedal

Got an email today from CSRP. Turns out I have to have 15 inches of vacuum. All I have to do is buy a 150 to 200 dollar vacuum pump! Or switch my cam. Or go manual. Wish the paperwork would have mentioned that before I blew a couple hundred extra bucks. Live and learn I guess.

    Hard Brake Pedal

That's the exact same problem I have. The brakes go down and then just stop about two inches down and the car slowly stops. The brakes feel the same whether the car is running or not. And I bench bled the mc and bled brakes until I'm blue in the face. No change at all.

    Hard Brake Pedal

I recently installed the CSRP power brake kit and everything seemed fine except when I hit the brakes it goes down a couple inches and stops dead. The car stops but won't lock up. It just stops like the mc bottoms out, but when I unscrew a bleeder screw it goes all the way down. The vacuum...

    Weird Electrical Problem

You know the wire that feeds power to the fusebox from the solenoid? It was showing continuity to ground when my car goes into this power down state. Being I shorted the solenoid I wonder if I fried something inside. I unplugged the fuse box inside from the harness to the engine and the...

    Weird Electrical Problem

Well, I had the starter and the battery tested and they're both fine. The cable going to the started has seen better days. Gonna replace it and hope for the best.

    Weird Electrical Problem

Ok, so I took my starter wire off the solenoid after all my power magically came back on, I then tried starting without it on and the solenoid clicks just fine. Never lost power. What in the starter would cause it to lose power and stay lost and then just come back on?

    Weird Electrical Problem

I have something really screwy going on here. How is it possible to have 12v showing when i put one lead of a voltmeter to the negative batter and then the other lead on another peice of metal such as the engine block??

    Weird Electrical Problem

To begin, my car started fine a week ago. While messing around trying to decide if my new monte carlo bar will fit, I accidentally grounded out the starter solenoid and it sparked. An electric fan I had wired up turned on!? Then shut off. When I would open the door, the fan would come on for...

    Suspension Alignment Problem 69 Coupe

OK, I may have a big problem. I measured using the string method, to the frame rail just in front of each front tire. There is a 2 inch difference with the drivers side frame rail in 2 inches farther than the other side. Then I measured string to the inner rocker. At the back of the car...

    '69 Front Frame Rail Installation

The a arms have all new bushings in them. But, I did have a heck if a time getting a strut brace to go on one time and just thought it wasnt a quality part. I'll defiantly check out the shock tower. That would make sense. They have a tendency to collapse in right?

    Suspension Alignment Problem 69 Coupe

I'm trying to get my old 69 back on the road again and decided to do a quick alignment check w/ jacks stands and string and noticed that the center of my drivers wheel is one inch closer to the engine than the right side. It looks like it might have been wrecked sometime but not too bad. I...

    '69 Front Frame Rail Installation

Yes, this I great. Just the info I was needing also. I was doing a quick string and jackstand alignment check on my 69 coupe and discovered that the drivers front wheel is 1 inch closer in towards the engine than the right side. Pretty sure this isn't normal.

    Illuminated door sills 2012

I have a base model 2012 w/o the my color thing. My question is, on Ebay they sell illuminated sills that replace my existing ones, are the wires to power the led's for the sill already in the sill or do I have to run my own wires. Not looking to hack into the wires just yet. Car is 1 week...

    Possible fuel pump?

It seemed to have plenty of cranking power from the battery. Like you said it might be bad gas, it had less than a 1/4 tank, and has sat in snow, rain, general crap weather.

    Possible fuel pump?

So I go to start the stang, '91 5.0, and it cranked and cranked but didnt start. Didnt even try to. It has 150,000 miles on it and has not been started for 2 months or so. After fiddling around, checking for loose wires etc and no help at all, I wondered if it might be the pump. I heard one...

    Speedometer drive gear question

Ok guys, I removed my vss sensor because of a bouncing speedo needle. I changed the cable, still bounces, now I'm looking into the drive gear itself. By all charts I have found, my 2.73-AOD equipped stang should have a tan gear w/ 19 teeth. I pull the one on my car and its grey with 18 teeth...

    No Hazards, blinkers or defrost.

OK, the hazards were just a wire that popped off the back of the switch, however, I found that my blinkers, rear defrost and reverse lights do not work, all of which are on the same fuse. Metered the fuse and it is fine, anywhere else to look?
