I agree.... i replaced my fuel pump a couple months ago because of this reason. if you do look into getting a new pump....rather than swapping out your old one for a refurbished or new OEM replacement, look into buying the SVT focus fuel pump. you will have to take the float and a couple other...

well... i have filled up probly like 20-30 times (rough estimate) since i first noticed this problem. i did notice that if i used STP fuel injector cleaner that the detonation is minamal, but still present! but as soon as i fill up without the cleaner, it goes right back to stuttering like before!

I have the same tick....I really hear it if I am @ a drive-through. I am gonna re-do my exhaust soon so hopefully that takes care of it. It has been getting worse over time. Never use to notice it at all before the Off road H got put on.

I Experianced the same issues last summer. Replaced the plugs with the stock Motorcraft plugs since I'm N/A and the problem was fixed. Give it a shot.
