EFI strut support...it fits, now !

Hey there, as far as the intake goes Its made by BBK, not sure of the exact kit, but i *think* its just the standard 87-93 mustang kit. I purchased it from Brothersperformance a number of years ago.

EFI strut support...it fits, now !

Long story short, i wanted a good shock tower support. After converting to EFI i ended up removing the original stamped-style bars (they didnt clear the intake). After much debate ...and some saving, i decided on the Maier bar as it advertised to be EFI friendly. I'm sure it might be, for the...

Welp, new to me wheels are on (pics)

The car has always been kind of a junk yard/secondhand queen (most of where the parts have come from) so i picked up some wheels. I can't say i've seen any classics with these factory wheels, But i always liked them. Anyways, pulled at the local junkyard and little work and some spacers, and...

    What headers - GT40 heads?

Ya, your plugs are most visibly different! I'd say bummer, but aside from the header issue, the Gt40P head is the better head to have. Good luck with the hunt!

    What headers - GT40 heads?

I'm running a 302 (5.0) in my 66' coupe with gt40 heads. I use the headman headers (shorties) posted above. they fit fine and i have no plug issues at all. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y75/infamouswoodster/headman1-1.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y75/infamouswoodster/headman2-1.jpg

    EFI conversion questions

Correct , the wiring would be different from the mustang /mark . Also the early computers (minus cobra) are tuned for 19lb (orange/yellowish) injectors. The gas pedal is pretty simple, it just depends on what setup you want to go with. I myself used the Lokar (spelling?) cable pull pedal. It...

    05 3v 4.6L conversion

I'm not really sure, but the above poster was most likely hinting at the work that will be necessary to use the anti-theft setup. There is alot of electronics in the new stuff, and you have to Use all (or very close to) of it or none at all.

New Brakes PBR 99-04 , Almost there!!

I purchased the brake lines for the 99-04 mustang braided steel etc. As far as routing and what not its not all set, but i think it will work just fine. As far as i can tell, the passenger side -hard line stock fitting is the same and screws right into the 99-04 brake line. The driver side i...

New Brakes PBR 99-04 , Almost there!!

These are drilled/slotted rotors for a Granada i bought them years ago from a company called Rotorpros . If you do an ebay search under "rotorpros" and scroll through their selection, you will find them. Kind of lucky i was able to relay that info to you. I searched through the unmarked boxes...

New Brakes PBR 99-04 , Almost there!!

I can snap a couple more in a day or so. Anything in perticular you want to see? This takes basic fabricating, Infact, it took longer to locate the materials (bolts and such) than it did to make the brackets. I would highly recomend having access to a drill press though. I drilled mine with...

    GT 40 Head conversion

Im pretty sure they are close to "bolt on" as you can get. Easiest way to check is to set the new headgasket on the GT40 head and see if it all lines up. If so, pretty simple. After that, its proper push rod lenghts and valve cover clearance.

    Pilot Bearing / Clutch Install

I take you purchased the Pilot bearing with the larger diameter plug around it? If i remember correctly when coverting you need both the insert (larger piece that presses into the crank) and the pilot bearing itself (which slides into the insert). Best tip i can say, is dont force anything...

New Brakes PBR 99-04 , Almost there!!

Well, finally got the bug and decided to put the shoulder to the wheel on my 66'. Its been sitting for awhile, awaiting a front end rebuild, as the brakes (original drum brakes) were pretty bad, and the bushings along with everything else....it was just unsafe to drive! So, a few hundred...

PBR brakes / Granada spindles combo...

Correct, i was asking just what was needed (tie rod/ball joint) to set the spindles in place. The PBR brake conversion seems to be the most for the money as far as better than stock and easy to maintain / pads/rotors etc.
