    You may want to pull out the wheel seal and see if the bearing is any good. Are you leaking any fluid on that side? Everything else you described seems normal.

    I bought a used C&L meter and when I went to swap the sample tubes there was a gasket in between the electronics and the meter. Is one supposed to be there? Never seen this before. Also some kind of goo, (silicon?) :shrug: Am I supposed to change this stuff out or can I get away with...

    CONVRT question

    Keep it clean with a vinal top cleaner, there are plenty of them out there, The kind I use takes ALL the dirt out and leaves it looking like a new top :) , I bought it at advanced auto parts... not sure exactly what its called but its in a white bottle and has a picture of a mustang on it.

    Is this a good idea?

    Working on the motor outside the car is always a good idea, its MUCH easier, as far as the swap goes if you have everything to do it with, it shouldnt be too hard, but without the right tools its always harder.

    I left mine in when I redid my suspension stuff, didnt really matter with the new control arms, but I figured it couldnt hurt, you can always flip them if you need to.
