    aluminum is much more ductile than nodular cast iron. if you guys are stripping threads I'd say it's your own fault for overtighening.

    I had the same problem with my car, which is carburated. Somehow oil was getting inside my distributor cap (bad seal on the shaft?) and spraying a mist around in there, I think it was causing the spark to go to ground. also, check the positive wire on ur coil to make sure it's getting 12...

    E7 heads on a '73 302?

    I have a set on E7 heads collecting dust, and was thinking about porting them and putting them on my '73. I know they will bolt on, but will I have to make any modifications to the valvetrain or coolant passages? if anyone has done this, do you have any advice? thanks
