    Remember i have a 4v with dohc. The cable travels directly over the top of the valve cover. I had a firewall adjuster on there, which fit, just couldn't be adjusted.

    I run the steeda adjustable cable. I couldn't use a firewall adjuster as for it hit my valve cover if you had to adjust it. The curve of the firewall also affects how the pedal feels. I had two that were drastically different.

    I'm referring to the one that is near the spring in picture two. Maybe you know this, but also, to troubleshoot what is causing the noise (which i think it a vibration), you have to have the jackstands under the rear. The clearances change drastically when the rear is hanging.

    I've never seen the exhaust welded a second time under the frame right behind the muffler. Could just be a vibration from that. I'd say i've never heard of such a thing as the sway bar hitting the exhaust, but when i looked back, i posted in a thread about it, so did karthief, lol.

    Looks like a nice car in a place that i'm sure they are hard to come by. With that said, it could last forever or make a hard pull and need 10 grand to fix it. Not a fan of Carb swaps. That also looks like it may be the vortech that uses oil from the engine. I think you need a lot more details...

    So I have a handful of saleen speedline wheels. I've probably run these since the 90's. All 18x8.5 Some are 10mm offset, some are 30mm. For years i've run the 10mm in the front and the 30mm in the rear. To be clear, the 10mm stick out further than the 30mm. Tires these days are a real issue...

    Sound deadener install

    You may need to pull up the original sound deadener. Some of mine was breaking off making it impossible to get the new stuff to stick right.
