    I had a similar problem with car missing(cutting out) under load around 3500 and up. Turned out to be the coil took a crap. Buy a cheapy one to trouble shoot with. If that solves your problem buy a good one(msd). let us know.

    Baumann kit allows you to raise the shift points by adding shims and spacers. The thickness of the shims and spacers represent a certain amount of rpm increase.

    You may need to twist the dist. to increase timing a little. Are you sure you have the dist. on #1 btdc? The dist. may be of a tooth or two also.

    Underdrive pulleys

    First you will most likely need to use impact to get the alt. pulley swapped. As for the battery charging if you have a 3g 130 amp alt. you'll be fine. As far as quality, I've only used ASP's so I have no experience with the others. Lastly, you may need a shorter belt.

    Here I hope this is the problem. First pic is tree on drivers side the hose I'm pointing at runs from here the the passenger side vacuum manifold in pic two. I just used a hose I had in scraps because ford no longer carries them, according to the dealer I went to.

    Tips on replacing lower intake

    Just use rtv on the end rails and no gaskets. Put a good bead on the rails and extend the bead up the head until it contacts the intake to head gasket.

    I got my 3g alt. off a '95 mustang from a salvage yard. I think it cost me $50.00 and they had it ready for me when I arrived. I think I paid more for the wiring kit.

    what size belt?

    It depends on what pulleys you are using. Underdrive or standard pulleys. I have underdrive pulleys and I run a 71.5 inch belt. It was trial and error until I hit the right number. Try routing a piece of string or thin rope(twine) around all the pulleys and measure the length.
