    Just a quick observation. Ididnt read anywhere what piston you are running. You do know those 2.02 intakes wont clear stock piston notches? I may have missed some info somewhere, just dont want you to get a suprise.

    It could be the valve seals too. When you let off it creates a high vacuum condition, it could be sucking a little oil through the valve guide.

    Piston and heat

    It might help a little for a short time. A street driven car will carbon up the pistons pretty quick I would think. I have seen thermal coatings you can have applied that are supposed to do just that. No idea how expensive it is though.

    Try loosening the motor mount nuts. That might be enough to get it there.

    To Take A/C out or not??

    I took mine out when I redid the motor. That lasted about 2 weeks before I was putting it back on. Just spoiled I guess.If it functions, I would leave it on, especially right now with temps up near 100. Just my opinion.

    Well my understanding of how they work is that the light is just triggered on by the no 1 plug firing, I suppose theres a relay of some type in them that gets triggered by this impulse, and I suppose its possible for it to be off some. How about gettin a buddy's light and cross checking them or...

    dissapointed with track results last night

    The temp and humidity can have a pretty big effect. I know I am having a hard time keeping the temp down on mine right now, its been in the 90's here seems like forever now.What was the weather like the time you ran your best? If theres a big diff, I'd say thats your answer.

    If your cam has a "lumpy" idle, it will bounce around a little, at least mine does with the e-cam. I dont' think it has to be perfect, just get it as close as you can, a 1/2 degree isnt going to matter much I don't think.

    even with the tranny out they will fight a little....get the car up as high as you can as the drivers needs to go in a a pretty steep angle. good luck

    hot idle problems anyone help...

    Had the same prob when i changed over to a pro-m and 24's. Calledd JMS (peeps who did my original chip) and they said they could fix it, short story is they did cure the prob. You probably need to get it tuned.

    Well I can make it any size (within reason lol) will make one up out of solid oak and post a pic, hell, I can paint them to match car color too! I can see it now, the keychain king! lol

    You might try valve stem seals. cheap fix if thats the problem.

    Yea I got a 180 stat too. but it still runs about 210 with the air on right now. Of course its been in the mid 90's here with pretty high humidity. Sorry man, I am out of ideas, wish I could help you.
