    Putting front discs in...few questions.

Thanks Tom...problem with ordering from the Mustang only guys is the lack of brand selection and the price. Best I can find is a $1100 SSBC kit, which I haven't heard much about...does anyone have any input or better options? Thanks, much appreciated.

    Putting front discs in...few questions.

Hey all, It's been a looong time, but I finally have some time and money to throw some more money at the stang before I head back to school. After searching and researching threads, it looks like wilwood's have the best reputation. I found a front brake disc kit from summit for 650...

    Pullin the parking lights

Do I have to pull the fenders off to reach them? Seems like cutting, splicign and hoping for the best would be more practical in that case :(

    Pullin the parking lights

Hey guys...been a long while but I'm outta school and back to the stang. First project is putting a new front valence on. Simple as that may be, I've gotten stuck. The old valence is unbolted and is only held in by the parking lights. The bezels for the lights can't fit through the hole in...

Shouldn't affect the run or situps much...but the pullups might suck... Hope it's feeling better man.

    C4 to T5 transmission swap

I lucked out on that one...my car was previously a stick before the PO got his hands on it, so the clutch pedal is still in there. Hopefully I'll be doing the switch to a T-5 over winter break. Not sure whether I want to do the tranny or rear end now tho...the open 2.80s are getting old as...

    Flowmasters

I've got 40s on mine right now with an H. It is loud, blows the hell out of anything I've heard around town with the exception of one truck with straight pipes. But, that's the way I like it I guess, I can still hear it with the stereo on about half volume. It is very true that they are...

    Sound systems?

Built mine out of MDF...usually have plexiglass inserts over the two compartments on either side.

What to do with Engine Bay?

I don't know what mirror black looks like...but that sounds awesome. I don't think I'd ever go with chrome, that's just pushing it. If you decide to just spray it, I'd go with flat black to put more emphasis on the shiny engine.

    Questions and asking advise.

An 8 inch has a more oval apperance to it, while a 9 inch is round. There's a really good site in telling the two apart, but I can't remember where it is.

    Dynamat ???

Yep, exactly. It works great, but it's overpriced. The bass from my 2 12" subs hardly even leaves my car, it all stays inside.

    ooo baaaabey suspension is done

The same setup I put in. Quite a difference huh? It still won't grip like a new car so don't push it too far heh.

I know this has been asked before but...

Another one for the sawzall...and as they said...get a GOOD BLADE or you'll just waste your money on a bunch of cheap ones before you spend the money. Those bolts are strong as hell.

    Stock Compression Ratio?

Depends on what code heads you have. check this site out: http://www.thecarsource.com/fords/engines/289engine.html

    T-5 short shifter?

Just outta curiousity, isn't the reach on a short shifter going to be realllly long?

My new engine is a dog!!

Is that 500cfm enough to keep up? Maybe you're not getting enough fuel.

    gears and mpg

Well more power from better flowing heads or something which requires more fuel is one thing, but creating a less restrictive exhaust shouldn't hurt the mpg. From what I know higher gears can actually help your gas milage if you do majority of your driving in town. It takes less to get you...

Old pic, but the paint hasn't changed so it shouldn't matter.
