    I think so too. Do you have a ground cable bolted to your fwd left hand k-member bolt in the engine bay?

    The floored pedal/cranking is a great idea but so is the oil filter selection. Use Ford (motorcraft) oil filters because they have excellent drain back protection. On the Ford 4.9L the motorcraft is a must. Any other filter will cause the 4.9 to be loud at start up!

    The OEM hard plastic ones will be dealer only (If they are still avaliable). Your local parts store will have bulk vac line and fittings.

    Unplug your IAC when the idle is acting up. If there is no change up or down then the IAC is not working (clean or dirty). If it does affect the idle then put a vac gauge on it, you should be close to 22 at idle.

    The above listed post #3 has a link to a procedure that has fixed many an idle and stalling issue for me. I have read many threads talking about how much TPS voltage does not matter (especially now that I own 2000 GT) but I would give that link a chance and see what kind of issues it can fix...

    Well I e-mailed Currie, Richmond and Mark Williams Enterprises (Three Huge Rear End/Gear Companies) and they all said that the MHD for the Ford 8.8 is 4.415. So now I have to call Pro Form and ask them why they put 4.420 on their directions.
