Both my cars stink the same way, I wouldn't worry about it.

I had a fairly loud "clunk" noise everytime I loaded up the drivetrain, turned out to be a busted u-joint in the back. Took under an hour to change. The way I figured it out was to put the car in neutral, lift it up, and manually rotate the tires back and forth, and rotate the driveshaft...

Full length welded in. I'm maybe thinking the fact that I have horrible tires won't let me take advantage of the subframe connectors.

Not trying to be a party pooper, but I put some BBKs on my 96gt, and I noticed absolutely 0 difference.

I think I'm going to leave the starter off and just push-start my car from now on. ;) I got it out by using a 3/8 swivel with a perfect length extension, between the exhaust and engine mount bracket. If I tried using an extension that was either 1" too short or long, I couldn't get at it...

FINALLY got it out. Been at it since 6pm last night. That has to be the hardest job to do on this car. Now I get to pull the transmission out, fun times.

Heya guys, My throw-out bearing is on its last legs on my 96gt, and we're trying to replace it here. This job is quickly becoming a huge nightmare. Everything is rusted, so we had to saw the exhaust apart just to make room to pull the transmission out. We have everything undone, but now...

Did the 96 stangs come with an alarm? I would think it was factory, except the horn for it was drilled into the front tower brace, which seems like an aftermarket install. I would love to rip it out, but the car won't start without it. I wish I had some wiring schematics.

I imagine the track is the final say in anything. Dyno is just a number really. Of course, if you're an inconsistant driver like myself, the dyno is rather nice.

What's a T-45 supposed to be able to handle?

My 50 year old mother can drive a manual, and she don't even know what a transmission is. Don't worry, it's very easy to learn.

How much is a T-5 good for usually?

Very nice, I'm thinking of doing the same actually. If only it was as easy to take the scratches off a windshield.
