thanks Ill try that.
EDIT...I tried that, not the problem everything is tight. THe noise is coming from the interior of the car from the passenger door.
I've noticed a squeeking noise comming from the passenger door when the radio is on. Basically it sounds like a cricket , any ideas how to solve this problem???
sorry should have stated this better, Im changing the pads/rotors myself, not bringing the car into Ford. I just wanted to see before I did this If anyone had the dealer give them any problems becuase they were done outside of ford service. I dont want to have warranty problems should a problem...
it all depends on where you live. some states use 10% ethanol and then take it a step further and oxygenate the gas all resulting in crappy mileage but a cleaner burn. In NY they do both and I get 16-18mpg highway. when I go to PA and fill up there im getting 27+mpg.
I was looking for a guide on what parts should be changed every 10k,20k miles etc. I would like to do as much preventative maintenace as possible to keep her running strong, to date she has a little over 10K on her. Any advice is appreciated.
true, but it was the same highway both ways no traffic. 8mpg is a HUGE difference. I also noticed my pumps in NY all say 10% ethanol mix???. Im guessing that has something to do with it.
So I took a trip to PA this weekend, filled up in NY before I left, averaged 19 mpg highway @75 :notnice: . Filled up in PA, same trip back, averaged 27mpg @75. Whats different with our gas? I even went to a Mobil station both in NY and PA.
So after spending an hour trying to get the headlight switch tab to release with a screwdriver:bang: , it dawned on me...USE NEEDLENOSE PLYERS. Needless to say it worked like a charm. Got it off first try. Just grab it and pull it up.
