    Heater only through defrost

There is a very thin hard vacuum line that runs along the firewall, it breaks all the time. Check it out. If it broke, you can take a piece of thin hollow brass tube (from a hobby supply shop) that fits snugly inside the vacuum line and use that to reconnect the two pieces where it broke.

Runs really rough - Code 212

Not sure if this will help, its from identifix.com and the most common fix is a new MAF or distributor. 1. Verify that the spark plug wires were installed in the correct firing order of the engine. 2. Monitor the Profile Ignition Pickup (PIP) duty cycle reading or the pattern of the signal...

Fuel 95 Gt - Issues Draining The Fuel Tank

Ok, perfect. I have 2 gallons sitting in the garage in 1 gallon clear water bottles so if there is anything there it should show up. How much time will it take for it to show up? 24hours enough?

Fuel 95 Gt - Issues Draining The Fuel Tank

How would I know if there is rust inside the tank? Where the car sits now, I really can't drop the tank and make a mess all over the concrete. So I would have to have the car towed to somewhere else to do it. So if I could drain it using the fuel pump, that would be ideal.

Fuel 95 Gt - Issues Draining The Fuel Tank

If I am correct and the tank is nearly full, how can I drop the tank by myself without draining it beforehand. 2 floor jacks to balance it like dropping a rear end?

Fuel 95 Gt - Issues Draining The Fuel Tank

I hooked up an adapter to the schrader valve port on the fuel rail and installed a vinyl tube to drain the fuel out of my fuel tank. IIRC, I left the tank full when I parked it in the garage. It's been a few years since I have driven the Mustang, and I did not use fuel stabilizer. The gas is...

    Opinions on a photoshop

Definitely stock. The paint stands out just right, you don't want any extra attention to the wheels. Glossy black might look nice though!

    NEED HELP!!!

I would get the car on a lift and check out the unibody very carefully. Frame damage comes quite easily on our cars, it doesn't take much. Any of the pinch welds could have broke, or any of the crumple zones could have caved. Or one of the rails may be mushroomed. But as said above, compare new...

stumbles/miss when cold and sometimes warm

I would start with cleaning the MAF & IAT sensors. Then you can check out the ECT readings at various temperatures (do a search here for testing parameters). Disconnect the battery before cleaning; once your done and reconnect, if the sensors were really dirty, the comp needs to reset the...

it is one or the other

Put some alumaseal in the radiator and just drive it! You might want to do a coolant pressure test as well. But if it holds the pressure, I would just leave it. The lower intake is not under intense compression like the heads are. But like many people, you will probably never have a problem...

Rough idle and misfire on accel

Start with a cylinder balance test, and clean your MAF. Simple, free, and a good start. Also pop off your dizzy cover and make sure the contacts are not fubar'ed. Next pull each spark plug and note which cylinder it came from. If one is black, white, or out of the ordinary, note that...

The small Stuff (Cam and Clutch install question)

I replaced the upper and lower intake bolts with studs in the four corners. They work awesome. They are 5/16" - 20. I don't remember the length, but once you remove the bolts, add a 1/2" and that length should be good. It makes it SOOO easy to install the upper/lower intakes. Also get nuts for...

What is the best converter for flow?

Well I am running magnaflow converters and they seem to flow really well, but I don't have any numbers for you to affirm it. You can see right through them (through the screens), which to me, means they are definitely the ones to get. Scott

    thermactor system

You need a vacuum gauge. I got mine at sears. You simply hook it up to a vacuum source (vac tree on upper manifold is good). You want a steady reading. So note if it's stable, and also the number in inches and let us know. Some people spray carb cleaner around the vacuum lines, trying to...

    what connector is this??

That definitely is the high pressure sensor for the A/C line. I don't see the high side a/c line in your picture, has someone removed the a/c system in your car? Scott
