    never heard that before. most guys i know with cobras switch to synthetic after break in. none of them, including myself, have had any problems and all of us spend a lot of time flogging our cars at the track and strip. do you have any idea why you shouldn't switch to synthetic? jp

    brake smoke brakes smoke when they get really hot. no big deal. check your fluids and your pads but i'll bet you're fine. if you want to get rid of the smoke, get better pads and run hi-temp brake fluid. JP
