    I had some 275/50 nittos laying around so I tried them. Actually hook well, but I wouldn't recommend it. The 245's look like they have just as wide a patch.

    Supercoupe Tranny

    Just wondering if anybody knows if a 91 t-bird supercoupe manual will swap into the place of my 87 5.0 T-5. We put a turbocoupe trans in my friends fox and it worked great, but im not sure if the supercoupes are different, thanks.

    Weird electrical problem

    No alarm. I haven't had the car that long, but so far I've noticed the the horn and the door locks don't work. The drivers side door has also been replaced. Where should the grounds be?

    When I start my car alot of the time my power windows and electric trunk release don't work. I shut the car off and restart it then they work. Does anybody know what can cause this, Thanks.

    Do you still have hydralic rollers or solid. I think to adjust solids you have to use a different method.

    I believe one nut you can get to by taking the glove box out. The other two you have to take out the center vents.

    I run the tfs stg 1 with 1.7's and afr 165's on the stock 91 shortblock with no problems. I've heard the performance gains from 1.7's is only like 5hp. I'm running them because i got them brand new and free from a friend.

    Quick, are my lifters bad??

    I would prime the motor right before adjusting them, use a drill so it builds up pressure, when I did mine they would get loose untill I primed it agian. Mine didn't tick untill I had a lifter break.

    What diff gears?

    Just wondering what would be the best ratio gears to get. I have a non-lockup AOD with a 2800 stall. I was thinking 4.10's but i've had people tell me 3.73's and 4.30's, so im not sure. Any help appreciated

    Car stalling

    I am having the same problem. I replaced the ignition module, coil, fuel pump, plugs, cap and rotor. It just randomly dies and wont start for about 1/2 hour. I haven't ran the codes yet, can i just rent a scanner from checkers? Also which scanner should i get?

    Head torque

    Well it seems that most people i've talked to said go 80 on top and 70 on bottom. I think thats right as it is what AFR said, and as well as the felpro head gasket instructions. I got confused because the ARP instructions. Does the moly lube also work as a sealer. thanks

    Head torque

    I just got a set of AFR 165 heads with the ARP 7/16 head bolts. Just wondering what I should torque these to. I was just going to do 80ftlbs on top bolts and 70 on bottom, but my someone said since im using arp bolts I should do 82ftlbs on top and 80 bottom. Any help appreciated.

    Leaking tank, from where?

    It might be the filler neck gasket. Mine went out on my gt and was pouring gas out all over.

    possible to change oil pan gasket with motor in?

    It's possible to do it with out lifting the motor or droping the k. I did on mine and it was a pain. Took 3 hours but I got it. It would have been a ton easier if I just jacked up the motor. I unbolted the pan and it droped about an inch, that was enough room.
