i wish i would of taken my K member out when i did mine. what a pain that was jacking up one side of the motor at a time. and don't get me started when it was time to put that top starter bolt back in. it took a little tape and a few extensions. when i have to put new gaskets in, gonna drop...
mine leaked through the top of the windshield above the passenger seat. my wife, the smart a$$ that she is, would always bring an umbrella with her if we were taking my car anywhere. it was a bad gasket i guess. ford fixed it.
umm, yeah the seatbelt thing
drivers side window squeeks when going up
passenger side of the windshield leaks during hard rain (don't bother me, but the old lady sure gets mad)
front tires getting wornout
and of course i need about 800 more hp!!
there was a guy on base that had a stang just like mine and he straight piped it and i thought it sounded like butt (but he also put saleen stickers and cobra badges on it). personally i wouldn't straight pipe it.
i think the 94-98 models need the spoiler and the 99+, it depends on how the car is set up. i think mine looks awesome without the spoiler. but, to each their own!
i have the steeda springs and the drop is about 1 1/4" all the way around and i got them delivered to my door for $200 off of ebay.
i also have the tokico hp series shocks/struts and got them for $275 delivered to my door, also off of ebay.
i just put the springs and shock/struts in last...
it works great for my car and my old lady's cavalier. The only problem i have had with it (it's been used about 7 times now) is that after waxing, the first washing doesn't dry spot free. other than that, i think it works good.
i have the 315/35/17's on the rear of my car and so far i like them a lot. no rubbing issues at all. they are quiet. i only have about a 1,000 miles on them. i hope they last a while. if not, they are pretty cheap.
i think your car looks pretty sweet! except for the ugly nebraska plate. that is why i had to put florida plates on mine. (i'm from chappell, ne but am stationed in florida)
MSCA,
1. The color doesn't match exactly. The stock ones are a little lighter.
2. I have 10.5's on the rear and think they look just fine with stock fronts (except for the color not matching).
3. Not sure if 275 will fit or not. I have 315's and no problems.
4. I haven't had any...
