You should have used Meg. Scratch X not gold wax. Wax goes on after the Scratch X.Just for the record I am no expert- I have just read this but I used it on my truck and it seems to have helped. :flag:

Do you like the loks of the bar? Thinking about getting one. I used to work at a hardware store and they had round rubber plugs different diameters- flat with a flange lip that would work. You can probably find a plastic one as well pretty easy. Whats the diameter of the hole? :flag:

I found one at classic design concept I think. I e-mailed them and they said it is put on with some L brackets on the bottem and fits between two strips of styrofoam type material. I do not believe you need a tonneau cover. This particular one fits on a style/light bar which look very cool...

I am going to replace the rubber door sills with alum. sill plate. the rubber plate is held down by double sided tape. I assume there will be some tape that will need to be removed. Anyone had any experience with this? :flag:

Porter Cable makes (among others) a duel polisher. It is made to be idiot proof. That is why I bought one. It works great and it is very simple to use. Go to meguires.com and click the video tutorials. they are very helpful and shows you a good demo of the duel polisher.

Use clay bar- Make sure you spray completely the surface you going to clean abd keep wet, wet, wet use clay bar by gently rubbing away bugs, tar or whatever. It doesn't hurt to spray the clay bar either. Keep kneeding the clay to keep clean. A little practice goes a long way. Practice on someone...
