    Well hopefully you won't have many problems but as you say, if something comes up, you can just leave it till you get some renewed ambition to tie into it again. Plus you can hack some weight out of it if you want without worrying about taking away from the streetability [I think that's a word?]...

    ANOTHER coolant leak!!... water pump??

    If the car was ran with no coolent b/c of the thermostat problem, the waterpump may have been running dry which is very hard on the pump seal and may cause it to now leak.

    From the vid, it doesn't sound like a rod, it seems to be in the top end. It's hard to tell just from the vid but I'm guessing once you pin point which side the noise is coming from, you will find the problem when you remove the valve cover.

    Yup, I agree, I was just referring to as your car is now, with no LT's or tune. Those LT's will make a nice hp gain once it's tuned :nice: . Just be sure not to spin too much off the line as it's tough to launch with 4.10's and stock tires.
