How to get 60' time down?

I don't know, dumping your clutch at 4k and still getting a 1.7 60' to me is not half bad. I'd be absolutely amazed if my car got enough traction to cut a 1.7 60' and I'm N/A. Maybe I just need to run Mickeys. /shrug

    2000 gt rear in a v-6 ?

If you put a 351 into a 2000 V6 Mustang, I imagine you should be able to tell if the rear ends swap out or not. It would take a quick glance and a tad of mechanical know-how.

5.0M/SF tests the Trick Flow intake

Realistically, if these gains are even remotely close to actual gains, it should be a good seller for Trick Flow. I'd wager to say that the average peak hp gains might be in the range of 10-15rwhp on N/A cars.

will these tires fit on my car?

I'm running 17x10.5's in the back atm with 315/35/17 Sumitomo's on them. With the nitto you're talking about, it's actually a fairly thin tire and honestly, you could probably get away with them on a 9'' rim.

    CompCams springs with stock cams

Yep, it's technically better either way. I wouldn't even second guess it.

Need opinions on Nitto 555R drag radials.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that one. I had trouble leaving the line off of idle if I give it too much gas when I had the nitto's. This was probably the longest stretch of responses I've seen in a while that have had positive reviews of nitto drags. I personally give them a massive thumbs...

Dumping money, what would YOU do?

1999 GT had a T45 transmission. As long as it still engages correctly and the clutch still grabs, you're good to go. 130k is just fine for your car as long as it wasn't an abused 130k. If you're concerned about it, you can get any decent forged set-up and it'll be able to withstand way more...

    Whats next

A tune is simply not needed with your basic bolt-on's. It's nice, sure but, not exactly essential to make decent power. Once you start really messing with A/F, then consider a tune. And as far as a balance is concerned, you still have to be a bit more specific. Will the car see track time? If...

5.0M/SF tests the Trick Flow intake

Ah I see. Either way, they still seem able to produce power in ways that no other manufacturer was able to. What puzzles me is the idea of it producing more torque in general than our stock intake with a runner design to doesn't nearly have the same length as the stocker.

Dumping money, what would YOU do?

The block will be able to handle quite a bit. It's the wonderful rods that we have that you have to be worried about. The hypercraptastic rods will give out around the accepted range of 400rwhp. Granted there are those who push much further than that and are just fine. Then there are those to...

5.0M/SF tests the Trick Flow intake

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but that info seems contradicting. In the listing, 5300 shows this.. rpm---base----base-----trick-----trick------diff-----diff ---------hp-------tq-------flow-----flow-------hp-----tq 5300 228.93 226.86 248.99 246.74 20.06 19.88 Seems the gain on hp is correct but...

    CAM HEADERS

There is a thread about them on modular depot. I don't recall the exact name of the thread but I believe it was something like - new brand of headers, or something to that extent. From what I gather, they have a similar casting as MAC headers ( no surprise there ) but they use a solid flange. So...

Dumping money, what would YOU do?

If that's seriously all you're after, then simply save up and spend your money in a very purposeful manner. Buy a supercharger, suspension and brake upgrades and then relearn to drive the car. You will now have a mid twelve second car that can handle decently and stop fairly well. Although...

    Looking for suspension How-Tos

I don't know if any specific "how-to" sites on that. But I have changed out springs, shocks/struts and sway bars more times than I care to admit. If you run into any trouble, I'm sure I can be of assistance some how, if not, someone else will chime in. The way I end up doing it requires only...

This is How You Know If You Can Heel Toe

Wow, I must be completely tarded when it comes to auto-x. I didn't see him do anything "special" with his feet in those videos besides the occasional few times when he had his foot on the brake and tapped the gas a little bit. I guess I don't see the significance in that really. To me it would...

    Next Mod?

I'd say you should direct all you attention to your suspension at this rate. Decide the route you want to go and stick to it. Don't put on auto-x suspension on your car if you want to drag race. Be purposeful with your money and time.

    Hello traction!

I don't know how much those will help with traction on your set up. I imagine it could only be an improvement I'm sure but, I wouldn't expect a dramatic increase. I ran some 315 nitto dr's for a while and I could easily burn through first and most of second while barking 3rd. I couldn't even get...

    anybody else have this problem.

Haha, it's the same thing for me in my car. When I'm driving the wifes 94 saturn, I get all the maniacs and crazies around me. When I drive my mustang, people get out of my way and tend to stay real far back. Rarely do I ever get a tailgater.
