    94 Gt Won't Start..sometimes

I've already put in a new pump, regulator and relay. After some reading the hall effect sensor did come up a few times. Thank you for your input. I'll look there next, but I'm still open to any possibilities.

    94 Gt Won't Start....sometimes

Once and a while my 94 gt will not start. It turns over but will not start. It may start a dozen times or go two weeks with no problem, then it doesn't start. Sometimes after a few times it fires sometimes it takes quite a bit longer. It doesn't stay broke long enough to troubleshoot...

    94 Gt Won't Start..sometimes

My 94 GT will not start every now and then. It turns over just will not start. Usually after several tries it will start, but not always. The times I have been able to look at things before it started it had no fire. I have replaced the ignition module but after a few times starting and...

    70 Spindles for conversion?

Well then, my question is would the conversion work without the spacer or would bracket not hold the caliper in the proper relationship with the rotor without the spacer. I have 17 inch wheels with a 4 3/4 inch back space and I am not interested in buying other wheels but I am looking for a...

    70 Spindles for conversion?

Ultrastang, I was wondering if there is any difference in track width with the hub spacer. I know the Granada hub is kinda thick.

    why 620's over stock springs

I have the older Eibach progressive rate springs Pro-motorsport engineering used to sell. They still offer this spring by another manufacturer. They are the 480 to 680# competition springs. They ride smooth for everyday driving but have the stiff rate when you lean on them. If you are going...

    AOD and Header problems?

The problem with the hooker comps is not clearing the bell housing but the passenger side at the transmission pan. The header flange with the three bolts needs to be ground down a little. I'm working all week so I can't really get you any pictures. I put a long wittled down 2x4 in the...

    Restomod build

I don't think that 350-400 fwhp horsepower is a problem either. Everyone's idea of streetable is different. But the 350hp mark would be a whole lot easier than the 400. Edelbrock's performer rpm "street combo" will make around 365hp with a 302. This is with ~9- 9.5 to 1 compression and an...

Has anyone here used Hooker Aero Chamber Mufflers?

I have them on my 65. I really like the sound. Not to loud, just right. They really freed the engine up compared to the old, cheap, turbo mufflers I had on it. I have hooker competion headers and an X pipe on mine. I would definitely recommend them.

    Side-exit exhuast ideas?

I really like the exhaust on the unique performace GT350SR. The exhaust exist through the rocker panel just in front of the rear wheel. I'm sure its a lot of fun running those pipes.

glass packs good idea or not?????????

Well, if you do have a 500hp engine built, most likely it will be cammed big enough your going to have to spend some money on the trans for a torque converter or it will be a very boring 500hp.

How long do you plan on keeping your Classic?

Well I'm 35 and I've had mine for about 20 years. I have sunk a fortune in it over the years and now I am doing it again. I could never even get close at getting my money back. So as long as I never sell it, I'll never lose a dime.

    New photos of spindle prototypes

TT670.... I Like your idea. A spindle that can use a factory style suspension and steering gear but could use late model GT or Cobra brakes.

    twisted wedge, or afr 165s?

You may still have clearance issues with the tws with your present cam. The 2.02 's on the tws will clear most pistons, but this is with mild cams. Someone who has tried a similiar combo might want to chime in.

    Torker II Package???

I had the Torker II package on my 289 years ago and like was said earlier, its a dog. It had fair midrange but no bottom end or top end power. Even Edelbrock has additted it was a poor design. I don't know why they still sell it except it will fit under a low hood. Most of the Edelbrock...

    Reving your 289's

I've also seen that the vacuum modulator on the c-4 may need some adjustment or replacement. The engine vacuum has a lot to do with shift rpm.

who makes long tubes to go around an AOD in a classic?

I have ceramic coated Hooker competition on mine. They are sized for a c-6. It is tight on passenger side at the transmission pan. Its even worse with my trickflow aluminum pan, but it will fit.

    afr engine combo

Well, one thing is for sure...if I had canfields I sure wouldn't waste my time pulling them off just to put on AFRs. Even if I had Edelbrocks or Trickflows. On a mild street motor I don't think you would be dissatisfied with any of the above results. They will all make an easy, streetable...

    afr engine combo

Usually you can find the AFRs advertised in the back of the mags. They have the little black and white quarter page add. AFRs were a Chevy staple for years. They have always been on top of their game, even when they were porting factory heads in the late 60's.
