    Those gaps are fine. The main thing you need to worry about when setting panels are the consistancies of the gaps. I see it's a little wider at the top,but it's no big deal. You also don't want panels too close together,because the paint in the gap will flake off later due to the panels rubbing...

    Explorers have aluminum D/S's,too. Not too sure on the length differences,but they will bolt right up to the 8.8,and the yoke should be the same,as well. Ordered my D/S from Jeg's yesterday :D Thanks for the heads up!

    I've got that system on mine. Get the stainless and don't look back. The system looks just like stock,except instead of the tailpipes being 2 1/4",they're 2 1/2". To the untrained eye,they look the same.
