    1967 Location

I’m in search of a 1967 Mustang with attached VIN. My father bought it after returning from Vietnam only to sell a few years later after getting married and starting a family. He passed some time ago and I just came across the window sticker, build sheet, etc... Unfortunately you can’t search...

Advice on going to a gym...

Sure did, lost 35 lbs doing this, 215 to 180 with very little cardio. I went from being able to do not even one pull up to 20 dead hanging wide grips, 15 push ups to over 50 non stop. I just feel better and was able to go from a 36" waist to a 33". But I forgot I cut out beer only to Saturday...

Advice on going to a gym...

3 days a week full body compound exercises ( squats, deadlift , bench,....) large muscle groups first. 8-12 reps 2-3 reps moderate weight. no more than 60 seconds between sets or exercise change. 45-60 minutes 3 times a week for 6 weeks. This will burn fat quick, cardio will get your heart...

Head and cam combo for stock 94 cobra???

A few years ago there was a black cobra with a stock bottem end (cam pistons, etc..) AFR 165's which I don't think were box stock, honed cobra intake, and bolt ons. The car was hitting 12.90s with out nitrous and high 11's on. Again few ears but I thought that would be an awesome street combo...

Is the 302 too out of date? Obsolete? Should the sn95 guys bail?

Modern technology is great, the mod motor is amazing, less displacement more power. The 5.0 was great in the day stock. I remember in the early 90's all the stang magazines were getting stock lx's in the low 13's with gears and a few bolt ons but now stock mustangs low 13's to high 12's in...

    H/C/I suggestions for 94 cobra

I've know a few people that put the trick flow kits on ther fox and loved it. Out of all the box stock heads I've seen though AFR:hail2: is amazing. Get some 165's, a cam, port the cobra and I would think with a good tune you should put down 300rwhp no problem(with suporting mods) with a nice...

    Silly injector question.

That's what I thought but just wanted to make sure. It just says trimmed for high flow rate with recal mass air sensor. I don't see how the 19lb motorsports could be any different thenn the stock ones but you never know. Thanks

    Any opinions on Summit dizzy??

Somebody has to make it for Summit, not sure who. I have there control arm set on my 94 along with there H pipe. The H was a perfect fit, put it in in the drive way with out any issue. The control arms were the same quality as some MAC's I had before. On somethings like cylinder heads...

    Silly injector question.

First time replacing a stock injector set with stock replacements on my 94 GT. Are the Ford Motorsport 19lbr's the same as oem? Always upgraded never replaced with the same thing. They are in the ohm range so I don't see it being a problem with the stock maf. Any reply would be much...

    unequal length headers

I read an article along time ago in MM&FF that compared equal length shorties and just plain shorties on a s/c car some where in the upper 300 rwhp range. If I remember correctly I think there was a 4 or 5 hp favoring the equals but the article also said that there would have been an even...

    New Mustang

It's just crazy to see how everything is evolved in the mustang world. When I was young I thought the 5.0 was the ****. What the crap, my 94 will get smoked by a v-6 in one year. I thought the 03 Cobra was awesome but 400hp na!!! What's it going to be with a vortech or kenne belle? 450 na...

    New Mustang

85 hp is a big jump. I wonder what trans it's going to have. I guess it's nice to see Ford getting in the horsepower game. Poor Camaro and Challenger owners:nonono:.

    New Mustang

So I was at the local Ford dealer getting my Fusion serviced and started a conversation with one of the sales managers about the Mustang GT having 400hp and the V6 300hp. He said that sales almost stopped on the GT when the 400hp claim came out and now they can't even give a v6 away to a non...

95 mustang gt stock vs 2000 pontiac gtp vs 2004 stock celica n/a 4 cyl

GTP's were pretty quick. 240 horse and 275 lbft of linear torque thanks to a roots blower. I think would be a little quicker thana stock 94-95 gt. I wouldn't put money on it. Gears, pulleys, and some good driving would turn the tables for sure.

    94 5.0 fuel relay problems

Sounds stupid but there is a inertia swith in the trunk by the drivers rear taillight that shuts off the fuel pump. Did you try pushing the button to reset it? Many Mustangs were towed in for thet switch getting thrown.

04 Cobra : FRAUD ON AUTOTRADER

That picture of the 65 was not a Lake Forrest Illinois picture. LAke forrest Illinoise is a Upper Class kind of place. Michael Jordan's old house was there. I don't think there is too much farm equipment in the area.

    Exhaust sound difference.

mod motors move more air (higher lift cams, better design intake and exhaust track and I believe a little higher compression) so the exhaust should be different. I had 4 series on my 2001 with the stock H and what pretty loud. Close to my 94 with magnaflows with an off road h.

Is torque plate honing necessary for 4-500hp?

My neighbor went high 11's on a na motor that was not torque plate honed nor balanced in a full weight 71 lemans.

Once again, has anyone seen any dyno tests b4/after cats?

As with any bolt on I don't thinkit's a ton of hp but will allow the engine to breathe and excelerate quicker. I've always noticed a good difference going from a stock h with 4 cats to an off road. My 5.0 there was a difference but the 2001 and 2003 I had made a huge difference.

    intake manifold question

I was told that quality is poor on the typhoons in general. The builder who did my neighbors motor said that alot of guys are bringing these intakes in with the heads to get done because of the price. Issues being sealing to the heads, extremely rough casting, and damaged threads that have to...
