Talk to local fabricators, bring to the table as many parts as you can, IC, piping... what ever anything to cut down costs. It won't be 6k. A S/C is a nice option that costs less and is easier to do... but what do you really want? I gotta stick to my turbo dreams. :flag:

The bearing are going out in the smog pump, the worst case scenerio would be the pump seizing up, causing the belt to get hot and maybe snap from the rubbing. This can cause all sorts of problems depending on the driving. People toss pumps all the time, get another used one in the for sale...

Well if you trap over 103mph(you should), you will beat the S2000, SRT-4, WRX not the Sti, prelude of course, integra of course, EVO 8.. nope. Of course this is all stock numbers.. so if modded anything goes. I guess you don't understand turbos, v8's don't win them all.

Everything is inherently better than a Fox body, except WEIGHT which relates to performance numbers(stock vs stock). ECU is still up for debate... it's not a deciding factor from me.
