K&N FIPK owners: check the hoses inboard from the metal heat shield. Mine came in contact with the silver-metal air conditioning hose and rubbed a hole in it. Bye-bye refrigerent. I took the car in for warrenty service and they found the hole and dried refrigerent all over the heat shield...

Will my 10.5's from wheelreplicas.com fit the new '05? I'm thinking of keeping them and trading the GT with the old rims on. :shrug:

I just put on the Bullit deep dishes from Wheelreplicas.com and the car looks awesome, but (and this might be just me) I noticed that I'm accelerating a tad slower. Everyone on the boards here loves 'em, but I never heard anyone talk about them weighting their car down. Anyone?

How much power will the factory automatic tranny take?

Just tried to order the X-pipe from Dr. Gas and Neil told me over the phone that there wasn't one out for automatics yet. I know some guys on here have them on their autos, but how did you fit fit it on? :bang: If I have to get the model in pieces, can any muffler shop assemble it?

The GT feels like it just woke up. I had the BBK fenderwell before, but I've had my doubts about it. Now it's obvious what a POS it was. Don't have any dyno numbers, sorry. K&N included a dyno chart with a stock 99 GT with/without the K&N kit: 9.9 rwhp gain. I'm happy with my 200 bucks.

When I first got my BBK TB, I had to advance the idle throttle setting so it wouldn't stick about 6 months ago. Now it stuck again and I had to advance it some more. The engine idles high for a few seconds at 1k, then I think the computer settles it to 7-800. Is this OK? Will it screw up the...

According to their website, Dr. Gas midpipes can't be installed underneath automatic transmissions. Are there any others that won't?
