Mach 1 Gawkers... A price one must pay for driving a Mach 1

Having a foriegn car, especially one with something sticking out of the hood, here in Korea elicits the same response. I've stopped noticing the cell phone cameras, pointing, etc after a year and 1/2.

    Anyone in the Military?

:D Not a problem. Basically I said that if all officers were enlisted previously then they'd all be old farts like me and would last till General. Better to bring them in young and stupid and hope the senior enlisted guys train 'em right. The military is tough on the body.

    Anyone in the Military?

There was a time I would have agreed, but once you get into the timelines it makes more sense. How much time would one need to be enlisted? Sure it adds credibility around junior Soliders, but how long does an officer remain at the troop leading level - 5 years? That's why a hard charging...

ok, say im gonna get the steeda sport springs.

Hmm, lets look at the math of this... Typically aftermarket springs are rated at 600-700 lbs per inch on the front and 250-300 lbs per inch in the back. Now where is your car lighter - in the front or in the back? For S&G lets say it was all in the back evenly spaced from left to right...

 I was doing the EXACT same thing 24 hours ago... :bang: Here's the solution in my case - I didn't have the piston seated far enough back into the caliper and the pad was hitting it. I could only get one bolt on at a time. The rear pistons are not compressed with a c-clamp like the...

snapped axles As mentioned above, you might want to check out the registry at www.mach1registry.com There have been plenty of people who have snapped axles with just stickier tires. Most go with a 31-spline set up if they are going to add any power and better sticking tires. Congrats on...

    long term storage

The military will store your vehicle for you in a "professional" storage unit where they will start it up once a month, move it (to avoid flat spots on the tires) and cycle the heat/AC. You can even check out the status on www.whereismypov.com However... I did that when I came over here to...
