Bunch of Fox Mustang parts for sale

That has been fixed for guest viewing. I'm going to say $5-$10 depending on the size of the flat rate box the wires are able to fit in. Thanks, responded

    A/C woes - the $1200 Evaporator RNR

Is school during AC class we pulled a vacuum on a pickle jar full of water. It's actually pretty cool to see the water boil when subject to a vacuum. Obviously this is an excessive amount of water, but still shows you how the process works. And I agree, its easier to replace the accumulator...

    A/C woes - the $1200 Evaporator RNR

That is awesome, you could have made a killing collecting them for $25.

    5.0L Valvetrain Questions

I don't know if I completely agree with that, but I agree with everything else you said. I still don't see the gains on any street driven car.

Installing engine with auto trans in car

Nope, right now your binding the converter studs on the flywheel and probably putting good pressure on the front seal of the tranny. I would unbolt the motor and hook the hoist back up to pull the motor away from the tranny just enough so you can spin the crank to line the flywheel up with the...

    A/C woes - the $1200 Evaporator RNR

The evaporator is really a pretty big job to replace. In sense you have to drop the whole dash and remove the HVAC duck work to get to it, it's time consuming. Then there is the job of charging the AC system correctly, and since the system was open to the air/moisture, the shop probably put it...

Installing engine with auto trans in car

Are the converter bolts through the flywheel? all 4 studs need to be lined up in their respective locations.

    Phantom draw/shortage

Haha, good catch on my typo thanks, editing now. I could see blown fuses coming from that. I just find it a good rule of thumb for the hour to use across abroad.

Why not just buy a specific cam that meets the needs or your engines power band?

    Constant beeping/buzzer from under dash

Do you have any remote start, keyless entry, alarm installed? Try to isolate the noise and see exactly where its coming from.

    Phantom draw/shortage

You may also want to note that this should be done when the car is asleep, (no active modules are on consuming power). A good rule of thumb is, hooking the DVOM up as suggested, tripping the drivers door switch so it will not engage the lights when the door is opened, then waiting an hour for...

Installing engine with auto trans in car

When you removed the motor originally, the converter may have looked like it stayed on the input shaft of the transmission, but I'm almost positive that it pulled off the shaft some. If that's the case, you risk the possibility of damaging the front pump seal on the tranny. I've seen this happen...

    5.0L Valvetrain Questions

Stock ratio is 1.6:1 but because of the stamped steel they flex a lot. A lot of guys run 1.7 rockers with a stock cam to help get a little more lift. I never understood why guys would buy 1.7 rockers and use them on an aftermarket cam? That's the point in replacing your cam with aftermarket...

    low oil pressure

In that case it was 10W30, you could always try 10W40 at your next oil change. :) And yeah, I would be app to believe the mechanical gauge over anything else. If oil pressure really was low, then you would see signs of it else where. Especially the first time you do an oil change.

    low oil pressure

As mentioned before, oil pumps on 5.0's are either good or bad, so that would be the last place I would check for weak oil pressure. Factory gauges are also notorious for being highly inaccurate and I'm glad to see you did the tests again with an aftermarket Autometer. Now the factory spec for...

    headers not lining up anymore???

I had a set of MAC shorties that did the same thing, warped under heating and cooling. MAC headers are known for warping because of the individual flange tubes. You should be able to line them back up when bolting on with a pry bar. I swapped them out to a set of solid flange headers and those...

    ECM or Not? Need help....

Which relay did you replace? There is a separate relay (ECU Power Relay) near the ECU in the kick panel that often times goes bad from moisture. I had a 91 with the exact problem you described, which was a shorted ECU relay. ECU would be the last thing I would look at as being bad.

    Heater/Blower motor problem

Does the blower work when the selector is set to high only? If the blower works in the high only position then I would suspect the issue is the blower motor resistor. If there is no fan action in any setting then you more then likely have a wiring issue. 1. Check for open circuit voltage at the...

About to give up... need help

Remember your basics; fuel, spark and air. You said you already checked the air way so that somewhat rules that out. As mentioned I would first check the plugs, are you running rich? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge hooked up, if not, see if a buddy has an on the line gauge you could...
