Engine Missing and popping under acceleration cold or hot

Thats correct. Still has the crown vic k member but the 4.6 is long gone. I got an 12 coyote motor but sold that to fund another project. Then i found this 18 f150 motor and trans with 6k miles for $4500. Couldnt pass it up. I found the issue with the foxbody. Crossed wires #2 and #7 at the...

Whole assembly. The old pump ate the sock and it was all nasty. Cleaned it out and dropped a new assembly in.

Engine Missing and popping under acceleration cold or hot

The car did sit for a year or more. The fuel sock was disinegrated and clogged the old pump.

Build Thread 1978 Mercury Cyclone. The pig is in the pen.

I didnt hink you would need drill the glass. Maybe cut it down to fit inside the frame The metal frame would be bolted around the edges and the glass would sit inside the frame.

Excuse the rough drawing... it's late. Something like this where the glass is still one sheet but fits inside the metal or aluminum frame with the straps going across for extra support. Then drill and tap the intake for the same bolts you used on the valve cover. might be able to get away with a...

I like the glass look. Couldn't you just build a metal frame that the glass sits into and bolts over the outside edges of the glass into the intake box ?? Would even have 1" metal straps every 4" or so in between the runners that go across the glass attaching to the frame and painted the orange...

    Fox Bodies At Barrett Jackson

I was there on Sunday. Some beautiful cars for sure. Some didn't go for as high as one would thought. Being a no reserve auction sucks for those that lost money or even bought them back. It was pretty crowded for a Sunday. A little chilly too but it did rain on Saturday. Factory five is coming...

I’ve got a 351w block and crank you can have. Just got to figure out how to get it from Az. Maybe we could get a deliver chain set up. I could drop in El Paso to someone if they can take it further east lol.

    Insurance Wtf

Don't go through your current company to get an insurance quote for classic insurance. Ask them who they go through and call them directly. Also compare to Grundy and haggerty and pick best one.

Paint and Body Fox Body Painting 101

Hey Dave, So I called my paintshop to see what a gallon would cost me of my paint. I went over that I'm using a urethane high build primer over bare metal. He then said I needed to make sure I put on a etching solution before i primed the bare metal. I told him when I bought it from their shop...
