How do different company x-pipes differ in sound? Aren't they really all the same when you think about it? I mean they are all steel in a form of an x. How are the different sounds created? :shrug:

I have a 03 saleen with the series IV blower. Do any of you have a distinct whine to your saleens? I don't hear anything with mine. Would a cai bring it alive? Also, the magnaflow x-pipe has 4 cats on it and is really constricting the sound. I'm thinking about swapping it out for another x-pipe...

I would like to customize my paint job on my saleen, but don't know what to do :shrug: . I was thinking ghost flames but probably won't look good with mineral grey. I'm open to any and all ideas that you can give me. Thanks.

I took the saleen out for a little while today. I noticed the intercooler gauge would rise up half way and then quickly drop back down. This would happen while driving and at a stand still. Is this normal? Maybe I'm just not understanding how exactly to read the gauge, any help? Also, my saleen...

I recently bought a 03 saleens/c. The pulley seems to be making a grinding noise. I contacted Ford who in return contacted saleen. They said that it was normal and just had to be broken in. I have 5000 miles on it and thought that it would have been broken in by know. Anyone have the same...

I've gone through 3 x-pipes ,all with cats on them, and they seem to start rattling really bad. I have shorty headers, bbk x, and dual chamber flows. Oh ya, it's a 94 gt. What could be the problem? Is it running to rich/lean? Any advice would be great!

Does anyone's saleen have a white stripe on their air filter storage box? Mine is right under the "do not discard" sticker. I have seen other pics with this but not all have it. Does anyone know what the point of it is?

I just got the time to put the car up for a winter nap. I changed the oil and cleaned it inside and out. I then put it in the garage and covered it with a bunch of sheets since I don't have a car cover. Is there anything else that should be done or am I okay? :shrug:

I was polishing my 03 saleen and got some of it on the black plastic pieces. Now the crap doesn't come off. Anyone have this problem or know how to get it off? :bang:
