    Consoles

    Building a center console is something i've been considering doing with my 68 this year. really only for 3 reasons, cup holders, armrest and speakers. The ones on here look good, when the time come I may be asking/looking for pics myself, good job.

    right now its about 22* and while we haven't had snow in awhile the roads are still white with salt (need a good rain to get rid of it) and theres a big snowpile in front of the garage to get my car out :( I've gotta few plans for mine, but they can all wait til I drive it once, or twice....

    To tint or not to tint

    I did all mine except the windshield. 30% all around. Nothing too dark but noticeable. If you do try to tint the old glass make sure you polish it first otherwise you'll be like me and have to redo all of it becuase of scratches and whatnot.....

    I am running the GT40P's on the 302 in my 68 stang. I got MAC long tube headers that fit that particular head, if you haven't looked it may be an alternative for a header. my .03

    Subframe Connector Install Question

    maybe I did mine wrong but when I welded mine in I just drove the car up onto 3 2x6's under each wheel gave me plenty of room to get under the car and weld, nothing jacked up full weight on the car's suspention, and they fit just fine.

    I have a pair of drum brakes for sale, These were off my 68 mustang with a 8inch rear axle. may fit others as well. they have less than 700miles on them, complete shoes, wheel cylinders, springs adjusters, drums. have pics upon request. Would like $125 plus shipping.

    ok, I have a 68 coupe with a 302 auto. I am still having a hard start problem hot and cold, but pretty much have it tracked down to low voltage going to the coil, when I first turn the key on, I get +/- 6volts to the positive side of the coil, obviously not enough, when the car finally starts...

    Rust Question

    it really depends oh how bad the rust is. hopefully its just surface rust and can be media blasted cleaned. If it goes through the metal it should be cut out and replaced with fresh metal. I didn't have rust on the B piller however my window lips where rusted and I blasted them years ago then...

    Mine did the exact same thing,except it tried to rip my arm off in the meantime. swich the 2 lil hoses going into the control valve around.
