Anyone purchase/install the LMR R-134a conversion kit?

Man, I still have cans of r12. What was your process to complete the conversion? You don't say what you did so my response is based off of that. If you dont already have a set of AC manifold gauge set, I suggest you get a set and use it to do the conversion and to better monitor the high/low...

Engine What’s your preferred way to clean engine parts prior to assembly?

Although the machine shop clean my block, I still did some cleaning myself and fortunately I did because they were not as thorough as I was. I used those block cleaning brushes and ran them in every passage and I use those thread chasers to cleanup all the threads and be sure to wipe the block...

    Lost low end torque

Keep exhaust consistent at 2.5"...bigger is not better when car is stock. 3.73 is the sweet spot to me. It's the best street driveability in my opinion, especially if still stock. Those 2.73s are crap.

    TwEECer Tuning Manual

I have Tweecer but have not used in long time (car sitting at the moment). I don't recall using Caledit. What does CalEdit do?

    TwEECer Tuning Manual

Has the creator of Tweecer done any updates to the program? It sounds like it's still working and going strong.

Went 4 1/2 month without changing oil. Oil consumption.

Depends. What gears do you have and what's the speed at 2500 rpms?

Cut line to fuel tank help

I used a rubber fuel line hose and two clamps on a broken fuel line on my Supra and it held up with no issues. However, I was a starving artist back then. Today, I would replace the line(s) because I can afford too. Check the website below. They specialize in this stuff. Also, according to...

    Suspension Coil over clearance

I figured so. No issues here. I edited my post and placed that at the top so the OP would see it before reading my post.

    Suspension Coil over clearance

Yeah, I know that's why I said it may provide some insight.

    Suspension Coil over clearance

I know these are different cars but this may provide some insight. I suggest you call MM. They probably have some insight on fitment. I have a 95 Cobra with MM Coilovers (Front = 400lb/in, 10", 2-1/2 diameter springs for Bilstein struts) and (rear = 250 lb/in 9", 2-1/4 diameter spring for...

    1994 idle issues

The only thing I can think of is some type of tuner. I use Tweecer. I saw a video on Youtube using the IAC limiter and it didn't seem to make much difference. The one time I had high idle (before Tweecer), I cleaned and then eventually replaced the IAC to get the idle back to normal, however...

    1994 idle issues

The hanging idle is normal so the idle doesn't just drop hard and stall the car. However, stock idle is lower than 1100 rpms. Did you set idle to 1100 rpms?

    Engine 302 production block selection

Good luck finding a Mexican block. I'd just go with one of those aftermarket blocks and know what I'm getting and working with.

Man, this thread ended like this. Where do we stand with this car? Any photos, updates?

    Transmission fluid question.

The issue could have been that the fluid in the car when purchased was old and never changed and any new fluid would make it seem better.

    Long headers and failed emissions

As long as you have the converters on you should be ok for visual inspections. They are looking for the converters, unless your state specifically ban long tube heagers. Check your state law. I know a gentleman who had long tube headers and he passed inspection here in Maryland. From what I...

How Wide Of Wheel/Tire Can I fit On 95 5.0?

An old thread, but just in case someone has the same question and finds this thread. I have the American Racing Torque Thrust IIs with 17x11s (315/35) on the rear and 17x9.5 (275/40) on the front. I had to put a 1/4" spacer on the front to clear the coilovers. The tires touched the shocks...

Same here. Mine is sitting for now and all I put in is 5 gallons so that I can run it in the garage occasionally.
