break in procedure as follows. Prime oil pump. Visual proof oil into rockers...check. next day, prime pump again, oil up...check. install dist, timing close enough to fire. car starts... manual actuation of carb. set idle at 2700 rpm. No leaks. Car runs for 25 minutes. smooth idle...

check the float level in your carb.....douche with gumout.. i assume you have points...check the gap and dwell....timing? bad gas?..no your car...lol!.. plugs? hows the power on acceleration?... check the easy stuff first...

they must like BOSS 302 Mustangs. I just bought a front valance for my 70. It was in EXCELLENT condition, needed only paint...35 bucks.

Check the windshield for the VIN number. It must have 'G' in the number or it ain't a BOSS 302.
