oops forgot to mention at every 10000 miles i do a full oil change. chris

I run mobil 1 10w30, at every 5000 miles I change the filter and replace the same amount that is in the filter give or take a little, do not want to over fill. 68000 miles and no problems yet, no smoke or anything. chris

mobil 1 , studies have shown thre only reason you would ever need to change your oil again is because there is no oil filter that can keep up with this oil ( the filter element will break down before the oil) chris

I found the miss, it was a bad ignition coil! imagine that the very last thing i looked at! Thanks to everyone for all the input. chris

miss under hard acceleration changed fuel filter, cap and rotor and the damn miss is still there, maybe even a little worse!!! Really starting to think about the injectors, any info on the injectors would be great. chris

I did not think of the injectors, just changed the fuel filter this morning( was it ever cold outside) and still have the miss, cap and rotor is next. Thanks for the info. chris

I did not mention but my car is a 92 lx 5.0, It is hard to describe, but here goes: dead stop take off then at about 2500-3000 rpm it feels like it is cutting in and out slitely, does the same in second gear(AOD). Is it possible the fuel filter is dirty?

Last weekend I changed the stock fuel pump for a 255 lph unit, changed the spark plugs ( one step colder than stock, I am using nitrous.) and changed the spark plug wires. When I accelerate moderatley or hard there is a miss, the miss is not present under normal driving or at highway speeds...
