    guages I assume that you are adding aftermarket Oil pressure, Water temp, and Alt.? If so, I just left the stock guages in their original places, and hooked up. And mounted my aftermarket guage cluster under the dash right over the ash tray. We don't smoke, and you can't see/use the ashtray...

    Electric Fan Set Up

    Electric fan I haven't done it yet, But my buddy took an electric fan from a Ford Taurus with the 3.0 and put it behind his factory radiator for a built 302. It does great, and only cost like $20.00 from the junk yard. Looks good too.

    Please explain Not to sound ignorant, but no. Can you please explain the pic. All I see is several different starters, mostly with Ford cones. Are you saying that a factory Ford starter is correct as an aftermarket isn't? Thanks, Chris :shrug:

    Loud starter My starter is loud also, works fine, but awfully squally when cranking. I never worried about it though. :shrug:

    I did it myself in Paintshop Pro.

    The color The factory color of the car was silver with the black stripe at the bottom. That's what I was going for, but it did turn out sort of white. I think the angle of the photo also may add to the "short" effect.

    equal? Both of mine are 1 1/4" off the eye, maybe you didn't space yours enough. If the rubber blocks I used had have been thinner by 1/4" I would have experienced the same thing as you speak of. :D

    Snubber distance The distance between the snubbers and the spring eye is 1 1/4".
