    Brothers Performance sells a kit that comes with 5 lug direct replacement front rotors (not lincoln rotors), 28 spline 5 lug axles and brake drums for around $450. This is the most cost effective 5 lug kit ive seen.

    Stock tach =good reading?

    my stock tach was off by 100rpm at idle and progressivly got worse as the rpm increased. at 5500 rpm my stock tach was reading 5800rpm. They suck, replace it.

    I had that problem right before my clutch cable snapped. Id be careful, replace it, that way you dont get stuck somewhere. Dont buy the cable from summit.....ive snapped two of there adjustable cables.

    Just my 2 cents here but coming from a long time F-Body owner such as myself i would have to agree that F-Bodies are MUCH harder to work on then mustangs. There is much less space to work with under the hood. When i pulled the Engine out of my Z-28 i never really "pulled" it, i dropped it out...

    To shed a little light on this subject, I have a friend that has this combo on his car. Everything mentioned in the kit minus the Intake, he is running the cobra intake and let me tell you it sounds NASTY. As far as horsepower is concerned, i dont know though, he has yet to get everything broken...

    I have stage 3 in my Camaro and my one of my stangs, Stage 2 in my everyday driver stang. The stage 2 is a great clutch for a everyday driver, a little stiff but good. The stage 3 is to much for everyday use. Grabs to hard and tends to chew up flywheels. Just my two cents.

    347 stroker piston/cam question

    If you want a good 347 first off, dont waste your time with hyper pistons, get a set of probe, SRP, or JE (like i have) if the money permits. As far as cams are concerned, steer away from the alphabet cams, give Ed Curtis at FTI a call.

    I run spec stage 3 with the ceramic disc as well as there lightweight aluminum flywheel, i have no complaints at all. I run this clutch set up in both my mustangs and my camaro.

    This all depends on how much you want to spend. Not all aftermarket tubular a-arms require a coil over conversion.
