    Prochamber cost

Do you think a used prochamber with 10k on it for $125 is a good deal? Thanks.

Nothing to be sorry about. Lots of people make that mistake. Everyone knows about 289-302s and 351s...but after that is like mythology and tribal legends.

No. Not the same. If you see an FE and a 385 side by side....it seems like you are comparing a Fox body 302 to a newer 4V 4.6L.

PS bracket is from the 72 Tbird. I think the alternator is just a chromed universal fit. Frame rails were notched b/c the T bird radiator was really wide. The small aluminum one does a better job though.

I am not sure what you mean about the "brackets". That is a Be Cool radiator. I initial installed the Tbird radiator, but it sucked. It was too big and leaked. The front frame rails are now notched. But when it got put in (1992) no one made stuff for that conversion. Someone else did...

    Roll bar question

I have been thinking about a Shelby style roll bar for my 67. Need suggestions for the seat belts to use with that style of bar.

I have a 429 in mine and it is tight. But it is awesome. Custom fab all the mounts when I put it in. Stock exhaust manifolds but thinking about adding some Crites. And be prepared for nay-sayers...those are the same people that think 351s are plenty. Big Blocks kick a$$!!

    prochamber

That would be nice. **** I spoke to quickly, the 'drone' grows on you and I found that it is not as bad as my big block 67 with flow 40s. I rather like it.

So I now I have stock headers and H-pipe, Magnapacks. LOVE IT!! It sounds awesome!! Except at 70-75 mph which is highway speed (commute speed). What can I do to alleviate the droning??

X pipe, H pipe or neither?

I am in eastern washington and we have NO smog laws here. Mainly in the Seattle area.

FYI. So Mike at Partshopper made me great deal on a Magnapack cat-back. And it looks like modstangs.com has the best available price on prochambers, $244 shipped. If Partshopper still had Prochambers I would have bought it here.

    front suspension and brakes

The FE big blocks not the 385 Big Blocks were available in 67. However, you do not have to notch the towers to fit a 429/460 with headers, it will just be extremely tight in there. It is almost impossible to change plugs on my with just the stock exhaust manifolds.

    front suspension and brakes

Why do you want to put a 460 in your car?

    front suspension and brakes

You do not have to pull the engine to change the plugs. It is hard, but you can do it. And there are header kits out there for the exact application that you are talking about. 429/460 in a 67-68 Mustang. Look at: http://www.critesrestoration.com/mustang.htm only $339.
