I used to run the 712's and still run them up front but I currently have 285/40/17' s MX's in the rear and the hook a LOT beter than the 712's but they do wear out faster. Personally I think that the MX is one of the best tires ever made and I will continue to run these on my car for street...

The difference is that the Bullitt has a better tprque curve and power band than a stock GT. With equal drivers the Bullitt will pull on a GT. Good race against the Bullitt, but you where even with the driver, not the car.
