    gauges in original radio location?

Ah! 65 that's a bit different. Maybe one of these.... http://www.cjponyparts.com/radio-delete-panel-1964-1966/p/RDP/ Use a hole saw to cut the holes for the gauges and then maybe a couple of those angled gauge cups so they face you a bit better. Then paint to match...

New High Back Seats On A '67?

I used GT seats from an 80's convertible. had to drill new rear holes for the original seat tracks but they worked out fine, only mistake is that they do not recline, not sure if that's a convertibles only thing though. After re upholstery. I had thought about doing the back seat...

    Which wiring harness?

I'm very happy with my AAW classic update harness, taking longer to install than planned, but that's mainly due to demands on my time and my desire to make it neat. http://www.americanautowire.com/67-68mustang.html Rock Auto still seems to have the best price on them too...

    Opinions Please.

Maybe mounting it on the tranny hump towards the firewall would work, then build a gauge/storage console type thing to go around it. I used a Classic Auto Air system so i didn't run into this problem, maybe they could just sell you the heater blower part that goes under the dash.

Painless vs. American Autowire Chassis Wiring Harnesses

I have this one, don't know why it didn't work in last post http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r196/starchiefus/Mustang/_IGP4272.jpg I ran it between the wiper motor and the brake pedal support and up to were you see it in the photo, will try and take better pic's tomorrow.

Painless vs. American Autowire Chassis Wiring Harnesses

They do recommend you drill a new hole for the engine harness wire's, I already had one drill from when I was messing around with Holley and then Megasquirt fuel injection, I would drill one in same area just lower if I had to drill for the harness. Some photo's hope they help...

Painless vs. American Autowire Chassis Wiring Harnesses

Yes, I routed the harness first to their rough locations and let the fuse box hang there, once i was happy how things were lay'ed out, I then mounted the fuse box using the template provided,.

Painless vs. American Autowire Chassis Wiring Harnesses

I removed all the old wiring first, makes it a lot easier to route the new harness, there's nothing you need from the old harness, at least I haven't needed anything yet. The one connector you might need to re-use is the brake warning light switch that connect to the distribution block near the...

Painless vs. American Autowire Chassis Wiring Harnesses

Yes, the Autorwire kit is labeled on all wires about every 6 inches.

Painless vs. American Autowire Chassis Wiring Harnesses

I picked the American Autowire because it was cheaper and offered more, you get a new headlight, ignition and dimmer switch, harness includes relays for the headlights, fog lamps and horn pre-wired, also has the electric fan, choke and fuel pump wire's included. The fuse panel is also better in...

Painless vs. American Autowire Chassis Wiring Harnesses

A OEM harness is not going to accommodate a 3G Alt, MSD ignition, electric fan etc. the American Auto-wire harness will, I'm installing one now, very impressed with the quality and instructions.

cylinder heads for daily driver - kinda long -sorry

I have the equipment but the not the knowledge, best i could safely do would be a gasket match. I've decided to go with either the GT40P's with hi-po manifolds (I will check my JBA shorties for fit and will grind on them if necessary) or Edelbrock E-streets, which seem like a warmed over stock...

cylinder heads for daily driver - kinda long -sorry

Well i just did a quick Google on GT40p and shorty headers, looks like all i would need to do is just change the spark plug wires to 90 degree boots because of the different plug angle or is there something else? Thanks.

cylinder heads for daily driver - kinda long -sorry

OK, so from my understanding a warmed over set of milled E7's will be best for my application.Keep the intake valve small -for velocity and throttle response- and increase the exhaust slightly for better scavenging? So I'm thinking i might attempt a basic port and polish of a set of E7's...

cylinder heads for daily driver - kinda long -sorry

I just have my original set of 67 289 Thermactor heads, i sold the E6SE's because i thought i was losing too much in compression with the 69cc chambers. I'm thinking a 58 - 60cc chamber will be around 9.5 to 9.2 compression. Also I'm thinking the cost of getting the stock heads worked on...

cylinder heads for daily driver - kinda long -sorry

Thanks for the replies so far, yes, my goof on the cam spec's i read the card wrong .246/.250 is the lobe lift. .180/.184 is duration at .050, so is it still a good cam to use? Or would the F4TE still be better? I don't mind doing the roller conversion if it will help achieve my goals. Guess...

cylinder heads for daily driver - kinda long -sorry

Hello I'm interested in a good set of heads for my daily driver. She used to have a set of E6SE heads but they've since been sold. (they replaced my 67 thermactor heads) Some info on the car. 67 289 block .040 over with 302 internals, so roughly 306 i guess. cam is Crower #15206...
