    how can I remove E. brake handle on 99+?

    I want to remove the plastice emergency brake handle so I can replace it with an aluminum one. All the manuals I looked at show the whole lever assy as one part. Has anyone torn one of these apart before, and how hard would it be to replace the handle only? Thanks,

    Anyone running the tokico illumina kit w/ the springs?

    I bought the Tokico Illumina springs/shocks/struts kit also. I noticed an improvement in handling right away, but now thats the springs are settling more ( 3 months later) The rear is lower than the front :( It looks like I'm accelerating really hard all the time :scratch:

    Copper Cap = Loss of HP/TQ?

    I didn't notice any losses with the "copper cap mod" a.k.a. a piece of aluminum with a hole drilled in it, other that the loss of hanging RPMs. I also didn't notice any SOTP gains from a diablosport chip, and a prochamber. Perhaps my butt is not sensitive enough. :shrug:

    I put a prochamber midpipe (silver one) on my 02GT about a month ago it fit fine and doesnt leak, yet. I didn't have a flange like that with mine.

    I got mine about a month ago, and it was silver. I think MAC called it an HTS coating. I heard that the pipes were prone to rust prematurly, and that I should paint it with some hi-temp paint for protection, which I did (couple coats) The pipe has only been one a month or so ( about 400 mile)...

    If you use the prochamber, you should use the two NAPA studs to replace the two stock ones on the driver side stock manifold. I dont know about other midpipes. I paid eight and some change for mine.
