    Weigh difference between both vehicles is at a minimal. The mach produces more power at the wheels then an 06 GT. Not to mention that the Mach's where an underrated vehicle to begin with producing more power then advertise. The best answer is the track but it will depend on the better...

    My mods are in my sig and my car has a best run of 13.3@104mph with a 1.9 60ft. I just purchased an NX wet kit 100 shot. I will also remove the IMRC's and have the car re-tuned with a chip. Anybody want to guess what my new time and mph will be. I'll be spaying out of the hole through all gears:D

    A stock 96-98 cobra puts down 255-260rwhp stock. Torque in a race means little to nothing. Unless your dragging something. you won't be in low rpms for very long.     Very few people have been able to run 12's in complete stock LS1. granted a few mods will get most poeple there. But you are one of many who overexaggerate the ability of drivers (not the car itself).

    Because it causes the rpm to dwindle out faster. At least that's what I would assume as opposed to have a more conservitive gear. How many people like that fact that with steep gearing you your rpms are hitting 3,000 at a lower mph. I don't know they have there reasons. Has it ever been...
