    Wow..."noise" doesn't begin to describe this.

    how did your transmission mount look?? does it make a clucking noise when you start from a stop, or is it more of a vibration/rattle? I would lean towards imbalance if it gets worse with RPM's.

    my car has a 90 model harness in it and it is Mass Air .....anyway, it took some digging but i found it....the 20GA fusable link had melted inside the harness....it was a bitch to get to. now....onto the next thing....re-wiring the fuel pump circuit...since it too is hard wired (to a switch)...

    i just got through setting idle, setting tps, cleaning MAF, etc. no change. what exactly does the PIP sensor do?? ive heard about it but still unsure...seems like besides a computer problem...its the only thing i havent checked

    Ford Racing Spark plug wire PROBLEM

    I just got a set of FRPP wires from 5.0 Resto and everything is fine except the coil wire they sent with the set is like 8 inches long...WTF?? I dont wanna reuse my stock coil wire and I thought the set was supposed to come with two serperate coil wires anyway??? Anyone else ran into this?

    NC emissions law

    yes yeah...by January 2007 all cars 95 and older will get a Safety only inspection (visual inspection)...however we are still supposed to fail the vehicle if any exhaust problems are found (leaks, no cats, etc..)

    id also recommend replacing the ignition switch before you go any further, whether its the culprit or not...its easy to replace(if you have tamper-proof torx)and its like 8 dollars...sounds to me like it could be a possibility anyway id also check for vaccum leaks...and when you say your ALT...
