    It probably is the hatch latch. I would try adjusting the striker to get the hatch to shut tighter.

    Not for sure but someone told me that if you have an exhaust leak it could suck in air on decelleration and cause it to make popping sounds.

    Too Much Bass??

    They are not mids, they are subs and they hit alot deeper than you would think. Custom built box and a precision power 800 watt amp helps a little too. It does not hit as low as 12's but it does hit hard. :bang:

    The aluminum ones are probably not that much of a weight difference. I have the afs 17" chrome cobras and they are about 150 to 200 pounds for the set.     how hard to remove and install clutch quadrant?

    I did mine with the seat in too. If you have a power seat it's a good idea to unhook the battery first. I crawled under the dash accidently hit the switch on the seat and damn near wedged myself under the dash.

    Does anyone know how to fix or replace cowl?

    Thanks for the info, I have a friend that is good with sheet metal, he said he might be able to cut it out and weld some new metal in for me. Luckily I haven't got it painted yet, the car is still primered. I was going to get it painted next month, it maybe longer now.

    Exhaust leak problem

    I got a set of Mac shorties used and put them on and have a bad leak. I put new gaskets on and tightened the bolts tight. Its only the passenger side leaking. I was wondering if I could double up on the gasket and maybe seal it better or would this be a bad idea?

    I dont know about a special driveshaft, you do have to change the yoke for the tko, but I used my stock driveshaft and just had it balanced and new u-joints put in it.

    I forgot to lock the hood like an idiot and the hood flew up,screwed up my hinges and crushed the cowl. :bang: Is there a replacement cowl that I can weld on or am I pretty much screwed? If they do make one where can I find it? :shrug:

    How long have you had your tremmic?

    I just installed my tko, put a ram clutch in and topped it off with a pro-50 shifter. LOVE IT! There is no way I would go back to a t-5. I broke two of them in a year. Definately get the pro-50 shifter with it.

    bad vibration over 60 mph

    Is the vibration in the front or in the rear of the car. I had a vibration in the rear of mine and found out it was the driveshaft. I got the driveshaft balanced and that cured it.
