in Autoweek, they said the base V6 is right at 17k. Add a 4.6 in it, you could have say a 19k car. Having a kid getting his license in 2 years,looking at mustangs, that may be the better choice.

Well, what about a nissan 350? those are fast and look awesome. Unless of course youre looking for 4 seats or a trunk

ok...my dad has got a C5 corvette... I will get my license in 1 year (time cant go fast enough) and i will probably go for a V6 for the simple reason of insurance, and a V8-rear drive in these minnesota winters is a war. If i want to go fast, i can. but for a daily drive for a teenager, a v8...

Autoweek has said the V6 engine at 202 hp/235 lb ft torque is 0-60 around 7 seconds. Thats not all bad. Some simple mods (exhaust, throttle body, intake, pulleys) you can be near 260 like the current GT. Maybe it wont be half bad to buy a brand new V6... :shrug:

yes, just solo classes. and i dont plan on modding much. (minnesota winters are ugly)

you should have no problem beating him (i had a 2002 boneville ssei supercharged, and it was fairly quick for everyday stuff in a big car) but nothing like a mustang. he should get :owned:

the v6 will also appeal to younger drivers that are worried about insurance $$. but no doubt they would much rather have a v8.

wow, so much improved over many cars on the market. somewhat like a 04 grand prix interior, but less plastic :D

ive got some info. on the c6 vette- here looks ok, but the rear is blah. 05 mustang is such a great looking car.
