    right now, i've got springs and subframes. i want to beef up the suspension enough to handle the power i'm going to get out of a blower. what's the advantage of a coil over set up over replacing the shocks or adding swaybars or a traction bar, etc?

    CHP 5.1L Stroker kit **Pics**. Just like the MM&FF kit. NO 56K

    i'm using it n/a with all the goodies. mine's the 9.4:1 compression so i can put a blower on it later. even the lower compression version is pretty fast. it hasn't been dynoed yet but it's a good deal more powerful than my friend's stock vette.

    if you have cats, you haven't gone crazy on cams and your car's had a decent tune up, you'll pass the sniffer. if they do a visual (as in CA) you're screwed.

    bdcardinal's right. but i haven't seen anyone doing a serious big bore setup on a 4.6 though. i'd love to see how it comes out. i put in a new block with a .020 overbore. i figured it was a LOT easier to do it that way than to try and bore the block myself (or have a machine shop do it)...

    What size Cam's to get with Ported Heads for 4.6L

    comp 278s with a fox lake stage 2 port will pass emissions (even in CA). don't even worry about it. when you get your car set up, i'd love to see your numbers, except for the trickflow intake, your setup is the same as mine (except for the stroker). i'd be nice to compare.

    well, there's the old addage that 'there's no replacement for displacement'. i can't say exactly how much power i got from the stroker motor by itself because i had some other work done at the same time. however, i can say that my car is a WHOLE lot faster than it was before the swap.
