    Oh so tempting.

I don't know that jeep seems a lot sweeter then a plain V6 mustang.

    2010 Camaro

I spent quite a bit of time looking at both cars. In the end there were several factors that made me pick the 2010 Mustang. First, Chevy dealers acted like they were doing you a favor by letting you put down $2000 non refundable, on a full price (or more car) that wouldn't be there for 3-4...

5 Speed Mustang Automatic vs 6 speed Camaro Automatic

I am debating a 2010 Mustang or 2010 Camaro. This time around I am doing an automatic. I owned a 2001 Mustang Automatic, but kept thinking how a real car guy would get a stick, so now I have a Nissan 350z manual now. It is great for speeding around but when your in hilly traffic I just assume...

1999 Ford Explorer Question (the other car).

1999 Ford Explorer 4X4 (4 door sport package). I bought this new, and it only has 44K miles on it, paid for but the problem is the RIDE sucks. Its worse then most trucks. My ass and back hurt in long trips, the dog gets car sick. BLAH. Replace the seats, get new shocks? Anything that I can do...

    Gears and RPM's...

Playing with the rpm calculator it looks to me like if a 4.1 maxed you out at 110mph (assuming that is true), then 3.9 would max you out at about 116mph. That would get you pretty close rpm wise. I am not exactly sure how you know what the max speed is though. I am assuming your rev limiter...

    4:10 vs 4:30's in a 02 auto gt

I am looking at going with 4.1's for my 2001 GT Auto. With my tires in overdrive at 80mph I would be at about 2964rpms. With 3.7's I would be at 2697rpms....not really a huge difference. Personally, I like to get to 80 really fast, but hardly ever go faster.

tire sizes 18/ 255f 285b what size sidewall?

I have 255 40 18 all the way around. I fixed the speedometer with my programmer. The 255 40 18 (compared to stock 245 45 17) make your speedometer 1.4% slow and a 255 40 35 would make your speedometer 2.5% too fast (less chance of a speeding ticket). http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

    Pro-M intake kit installed.

I have never cleaned it :). I acutally bought it in January, maybe the dealer blasted it clean. It is a 2001 with 12,000 miles on it so it has been in a garage most of its life. I don't drive it to work, only on the weekends for fun :).

    Pro-M intake kit installed.

I thought this kit looked pretty cool after reading about it in 5.0 magazine. Looks a lot better, not sure if I can feel any real power increase though. I put in a Pro-M filter instead of the K&N in the magazine. Pretty tight fit, but at least no oil to deal with.

    18" tire ?

I just put on 255/40 18 and they DON'T rub but its VERY close. I would think a 275 might be too much.

    No Speed-Cal for 2001 GT Auto..now what?

Looks like the Speed-Cal doesn't work for my 2001 GT Automatic. With wheel/ tire and 4.10 gear changes am I screwed on my speedometer? Or is there something else available?
