The fix for this is installation of polyurethane bushings. Mine had the same problem with a a couple hundreds miles on it. The cure was like I said bushings! Good luck! Velez

It's very possible that the throwout bearing is making that noise instead of chirping like they normally do. Hope this helps!! Velez

All I did was replaced the rack and pinion stock bushings with with polyurethane ones and problem fixed!!! Hope this helps! :) Velez

I found the problem and was something very simple!! :nice: One of the terminals in the module it wasn't going inside the pick up coil connector, so no spark whatsoever. Thanks a lot to those who replied to me willing to help :flag: !! Velez

I haven't check the coil wire that goes to the cap yet, but I'm going to try it! So what could it be then if I don't get spark there? Thanks a lot for your input!! :nice: Velez

Hmmmmmm!! When I was checking the TFI module I grabbed the distributor and moved side to side and with the keys in the ON position I could hear something activating in the engine area. Not sure if this is normal, btw it did it at certain positions like whenever the module plug was almost...

Well another fellow soldier :nice: I had a hard time trying to pull the old bearing out and pretty much destroyed the old shim, so not good here! Like you said to reuse the stock shim, my friend said the same thing but since the one that looked the same size was the .030 that's what I used. I'm...

Hey guys this weekend I decide to install a set of 4.10 gear and ran into some problems :( Well first of all I don't have a micrometer but a caliper which is not as acurate to measure the pinion head or shims. After I pulled the old pinion I took a measurement at the head and then the new one...

I guess I'm not the only one with the driver's window noise and the front cracking noise :nonono:
