no timing adjusters will not hurt your car as long as you do not go crazy with adjusting the timing.

i kinda have the same problem but a little different, mine cuts out at 6100 always, but once it his 6100 its cuts out completely, the same feeling when you hit the rev limiter, and then after half a second, it comes back and hit 6100 almost immediatly and does it again.

i just replaced the spark plugs and wires and this did not change anything, what would you do as your next step, replace the coils?

i have the same problem and as soon as you hit the 6000 rpm its cuts out, just like it would with the rev limiter, i think that it is the rev limiter but i do not no what to do about it

first i was wondering what size are the stock fuel injectors on a 1996 cobra. Secondly should i upgrade to bigger ones. I have the timing adjusted, cold air intake, underdrive pullies, upgraded spark plugs and wires, long tube headers, h-pipe, diablo chip (not yet burned), and a 95mm mass air...

i have a 96 cobra. My car when you are looking at the odometer cuts out at 6100 (the rev limiter kicks in) I am almost possitive that it is just the odometer because i think that my car is going the correct speed when i max it out in first and second. So normally i would just think to correct...

can you also possible to install lt headers on a 96 without dropping the k-member?
